"Map out your future - but do it in pencil. The road ahead is as long as you make it. Make it worth the trip."
Jon Bon Jovi
We have been in Kanab for almost 6 months now and the urge to roam is getting stronger and stronger.
But as we drove through Zion National Park the other day I realized how much I will miss this incredible place.
Though we have been here many, many times each time we clear a crest or come around a bend it is as if I have never seen it before.
It is changed by the time of day, clouds in the sky, the season or even by the angle by which we see it.
We are humbled by the sheer magnitude of this wonderful world that has been created for us.
I will miss this place! We have had spring, summer and now fall. How lucky we have been.
But we know there are so many more treasures out there.
We will be leaving Kanab the middle of September and doing more exploring in the Utah and Nevada area and then heading to New Mexico for a month before our return to Arizona for the winter.
And we have an adventure or two planned before leaving Kanab. I hope you'll come along for the ride.
“You don't even know where I'm going."
"I don't care. I'd like to go anywhere.”
