It was hard to leave our beautiful spot in Kerrville-Schreiner Park.
Kerrville - Schreiner Park is a beautiful 517-acre recreation and camping park on the Guadalupe River.
It was so nice to come back to Gypsy each night after we had explored all those wonderful places out there.
They have hiking trails that leave right out of the Park. We were so busy going, going, going that we only hiked one of the trails.
Along the trail was a pet grave. Little Snow Ball lived a long pet life from 1963 to 1975.
I wonder how long it took to find the perfect rocks to put together this guy that was along the trail.
The moss on the trees makes for really interesting limbs.
We felt like we really belonged because each evening we would have visitors.
One evening we had 9 in "our yard".
A final soft sky at nightfall and it was time to move on.
This is the reason we had to get to San Antonio. A Spurs game. I bought the tickets last winter & even then there weren't many available.
Tim Duncan has been my favorite NBA player for YEARS with Tony Parker a close second making the San Antonio Spurs my favorite team.
I was so excited and happy that Walt was willing to leave early to get to the AT&T Center. There were dark angry clouds but no rain yet.
As we walked up it was plain to see that I wasn't the only one wanting to be there early.
There was a nice view to take in while we waited.
Plenty of time to find the most enthusiastic fans.
When we climbed, climbed and climbed some more to our seats we could see that every seat was covered with a T shirt. Fan appreciation night. What a treat.
Will this year be the last hurrah for Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili as the Big Three?
If Tim Duncan retires I am so glad that I got to see him again and this time on his home court.
Go Spurs!
A nice win over the Phoenix Suns. A really fun night. Now on to see the beauty of San Antonio.
