Even though January was cooler than usual in the Valley of the Sun February has been perfect.
Hard to believe that much of the United States is covered with snow and we have flowers blooming.
Lots of sunny days for little girls to ride their scooters.
Time to quit making a fashion statement and put that helmet on.
One evening we had an outing to Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa. It is home to the largest Wurlitzer pipe organ in the world.
Neither the pipe organ or the pizza was the main attraction for this one.
What do you do on a rainy day? Stay inside of course. The University of Phoenix Stadium was filled with 100 volleyball teams.
Perfect time to watch Lyndsee play. The action really makes the hair fly. Go Lyndz!
We have really had a hard time trying to plan our trip east that is to start April 1st. Seems there are obstacles and situations pushing and pulling us around. Maybe it is because we are planning to head out on April Fools Day.
Everyday some new plan seems to be laid. Then the next day it changes.
Now it seems we have come to a plan. No plan at all. Just go where and when the roads take us and if we are diverted.......Oh Well!
Another afternoon spent out at the Salt River. This time I got to go along.
Yes, we were watching for horses.
But first we got to enjoy the lushness of the desert. It is so green after all the rain we have had.
The desert flowers are starting to bloom.
And there were horses.
Freedom, sunshine and green grass.........what more could they want?
We took a different road back this afternoon for more desert views.
Any of you looking for a new fence idea? Isn't this one worth considering?
Grammie and Grampa are not always too exciting to stay with. Sometimes they just bore you to sleep.
I have so missed having a cat. Not to own.........everybody knows you don't own a cat. They own you.
I kept thinking one would find me.
When I saw those big blue eyes I decided it was time for me to bring him home. Meet PQ Kitty Cat or Bubba as Walt calls him. He is a big boy so Bubba will probably stick. Here's to another travelin' man in my life.
