After our long and eventful east coast trip and SO many posts I thought I would no longer post to my blog because most likely from now on many of our travels would be repeats. But then I still wanted to have a place for pictures that I continue to take so many of my posts may simply be repositories for photos that I want to go back and be able to enjoy. New experiences will probably deserve a full run down but repeats will be less talk with just the visuals.
The trip from Waco to San Antonio wouldn't be complete without a stop at Buc-ees. The best place to stop for gas and a little shopping.
There are so many unique items and delicious food that the stop is always longer than planned.
Our month long stay in San Antonio was at Green Lake RV Resort. No leveling needed here on the nice concrete pads. Each spot has a picnic table, your very own lawn and a couple trees. It is a very well kept park with great TV channels, lightning fast wi-fi, sparkling pool and jacuzzi. That jacuzzi was our go to spot many evenings. Free popcorn in the rec room and only 12 miles from downtown San Antonio. We really enjoyed our time there.
Our time in San Antonio was spent revisiting many of the places we liked like the missions.
And my happy place............the River Walk.............. so here goes that accumulation of photos.
The River Walk is beautiful no matter what time of the year we are there.
Dazzling San Antonio sunsets from glowing orange............
to soft pinks and reds. Winter is good in San Antonio.
